Superior Sip-in Technology

Blood application made easier and faster with a light touch. Supported by our Superior Sip-in (SSI) technology, it allows blood to be easily drawn out onto the absorbent area of the strip even when moving. This reduces the chances of strip wastage and boosts accurate glucose detection.

Lancing

New Lancing Comfort

Minimal cutaneous damage is achieved through a tri-bevel needle design and minimal needle-tip vibration during skin penetration.

FAQs

Q. What can I do when the meter shows “Error message” on the screen?

Error message:E-b/ Err 36

Battery power is too low to operate the meter. The meter will not operate until the batteries are replaced.
Solution: You have to replace or charge the batteries soon.

Error message: E-C/ Err 22

Invalid code strip insertion. E.g. get wrong test strip, defective test strip.

Solution: Only use the same brand strips which were produced specifically for your glucose monitor.

Error message: E-U/ Err 24

Inserts a used test strip. Repeat the test with a new test strip. Blood sample is input before the symbol for blood blinks.
Solution: Wait for the "blood drop" symbol to blink then re-test using a proper amount of blood.

Error message: E-t/ Err25

The meter or test strip appears when the environmental temperature is below system operating range. System operation range is 10~40℃.
Solution: Repeat the test after the meter or test strip has reached the above temperature.

Error message: E-t/ Err 26

The meter or test strip show on the screen when the environmental temperature is above system operating range. System operation range is 10~40℃.

Solution: Repeat the test after the meter or test strip has reached the above temperature.

Error message: E-F

Strip was removed soon after applying blood and not given enough time to be absorbed by the absorption hole.

Solution: Repeat the test with a new test strip and wait for the test result.

Error message: Lo

Poor amount of blood sample or blood glucose value under measurement range 20 mg/dL (1.1mmol/l).

Solution: Get a sufficient amount of blood sample and repeat the test with a new test strip. Blood glucose measurement range is 1.1~33.3 mmol/L. Repeat the test and seek immediate medical attention.

Error message: Hi

Blood glucose value over measurement range 33.3mmol/L.

Solution: Get a sufficient amount of blood sample and repeat the test with a new test strip. Blood glucose measurement range is 1.1~33.3 mmol/L. Repeat the test and seek immediate medical attention.

Other error messages

The meter may have some defective problems.
Solution: Repeat the test with a new test strip or repeat the measurement. If the error message appears again, please contact our distributor or us.

Q. Can I test blood glucose from sites other than my fingertips?

A. FORA® blood glucose meter systems allow you to obtain a blood sample from an alternative site such as your palm, forearm, upper arm, calf, or thigh.

Notice: alternative site test is not fit for everyone, it may have some limitations if you have just taken insulin and:
• You think your blood glucose is low.
• The test results do not agree with how you feel.
• You have an ill feeling.
• You are unaware of symptoms when you become hypoglycemic.
• Alternative site results may be different than those from the fingertips when blood glucose levels are changing rapidly, such as after a meal or during and after exercise.
